Taylor Teasdale is a lawyer at Blumberg Segal LLP and works exclusively in the areas of Non-Profit and Charity law, providing legal assistance to a wide range of organizations in regard to a variety of corporate governance, operational, and tax compliance matters.
Prior to joining the firm Taylor practiced corporate, non-profit and charity law for many years. He also worked in the charitable sector as a program officer at an organization providing funding for community development corporations and as the COO of an educational foundation. He has taught non-profit and charitable law at the University of Windsor, Wayne State University and the University of Michigan.
Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, a Juris Doctor degree (with honours) from Detroit College of Law, and a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987 and is also admitted to practice law in Michigan.
